I love the morning for reflecting time. Normally I am running, biking, or swimming and I do not get a chance to record my thoughts during that reflecting time. On our way to Melville, NY this week, I can and should record some of my thoughts. Really I wish I could do it as I was driving and need to come up with a good way to do that. Sunday night we pulled into DuBois, PA to get some shut eye on the way to Melville. Today I will start my Advanced CDP training class from FalconStor.

Quote of the week:

A government big enough to give you everything you want, is big enough to take away everything you have. -Thomas Jefferson

If you were to form your own country, how would you create your tax system? I do not think free will offering would be a good option. The Weakonomist shares “How Do You Want To Pay Taxes?“

We love to put up food that we grow in our garden, get from a local producer, or you-pick. DebtFreeAdventure shares about how this works for them and why. He also gives us a new term in the process: Localvore.

Walking that line, balance between the love of money and greed to being a good steward of God’s blessings is not easy. Here is a post from John Gowan shares on www.ChristianPF.com.
